NPFL: Mangut unbowed despite Nasarawa United’s loss to Rivers United

Nasarawa United technical adviser, Mbwas Mangut has commended his players despite the defeat to Rivers United.
The Solid Miners fell 1-0 to their hosts in a matchday 11 encounter at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt on Sunday.
It was Nasarawa United’s second consecutive defeat.
The Lafia club dropped to second position on the table following the loss.
Mangut refused to blame his players, instead commended them for their efforts.
“I commend my boys for their efforts, and I congratulate Rivers United for taking their chance from our defensive mistake,” Mangut told the club’s media.
“We are a young team that is self-motivated and highly supported by the Nasarawa State Government. We want to make a name for ourselves and the people of the State.”
