Ghanaian Players Abroad: Prince Adu and Edmund Baidoo continue good form


Ghanaian players across Europe put in decent performances for their respective clubs with one week to the final international break of the year, where the Black Stars take on Japan and South Korea in friendlies.
Here’s a wrap of their performances over the weekend:
France
Center-back Terry Yegbe started a third consecutive game for Metz as they earned a 2-0 win over Nantes on Sunday in the French Ligue 1.
The 24-year-old has now featured in nine league games since his summer move.
Defender Kojo Oppong put in a decent shift for Nice as they conceded in stoppage time to lose 1-0 to PSG on Saturday.
Austria
Edmund Baidoo extended his scoring run for Salzburg, netting against Ried in a 4-1 win on Sunday to make it four straight games with a goal or assist.
The 19-year-old forward has three goals and four assists in 11 games in the Austrian top flight.

Czechia
Striker Prince Adu Kwabena’s form is also rolling as he made it five goals in his last five games, scoring on Sunday for Viktoria Plzen in a 2-1 win over Teplice in the Czech top flight.
The 22-year-old former Bechem United man has six goals across all competitions this season.

Germany
German-born Ghanaian striker Ragnar Ache scored his first Bundesliga goal for his new club FC Köln in a 4-1 win over Hamburg on Sunday. Compatriot Ransford Königsdörffer featured for HSV.
The goal followed another fine strike against Bayern Munich in the German Cup in midweek.
The 27-year-old has two goals and four assists in eleven games in all competitions.

Center-back Patric Pfeiffer starred for Darmstadt in a 2-2 draw against Arminia Bielefeld on Saturday in the German Bundesliga 2.
Denmark
Prince Amoako Junior starred for FC Nordsjælland with his fifth league goal despite a 4-2 defeat to Odense BK in the Danish top flight. Belgian-Ghanaian defender Leeroy Owusu scored for the victors, while defender Stephen Acquah and midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi featured for Nordsjælland.
Switzerland
Forward Daniel Afriyie provided his fourth assist of the season as his team FC Aarau beat Rapperswil-Jona 2-1 to extend their lead at the top of the Swiss second tier to 33 points, six clear.
Belgium
Forward Isaac Nuhu scored his fifth goal of the season for KAS Eupen in a 2-1 defeat to Gent U23 in the Belgian second tier. Eupen goalkeeper Manaf Nurudeen featured in a league game for the first time in over a year.
Israel
Forward Eugene Ansah scored his fifth league goal to help Ashdod seal a 4-1 win over Hapoel Haifa in the Israeli league.
The 30-year-old also has five assists in nine league games.
Also in Israel, Mathew Cudjoe provided his second assist for Bnei Sakhnin in a 2-2 draw against Hapoel Tikva.
Slovenia
Benjamin Tetteh scored twice to seal a 3-2 win for Maribor away at Bravo in the Slovenian top flight, taking his tally to ten goals and four assists in 17 games across all competitions.
Turkey
Striker Felix Afena-Gyan scored his first goal for Amedspor in a 3-0 win over Manisa in the Turkish second-tier.
