Stop parading yourselves as exco – Kebbi ADC faction warns suspended members

A faction of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, in Kebbi State has issued a stern warning to individuals or groups against parading themselves as leaders of the party in the state.
The factional chairman, Abdulrazak Abubakar, gave the warning at a press conference held on Saturday in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.
Abubakar said it had come to the faction’s notice that one Sufiyanu Bala and others, who were earlier suspended by the party, have continued to present themselves as executives of the ADC.
The factional chair further stated that one Alhaji Sule Iko was also suspended for parading himself as the party chairman by Sufiyanu.
Abdulrazak said neither Sufiyanu Bala nor Sule Iko remains a member of the ADC, citing a court order that restrains Sufiyanu Bala from parading himself as a party leader.
“A High Court sitting in Kebbi State has issued an interim injunction restraining three officials of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, from parading themselves as members of the party’s state executive committee,” the factional chairman stated.
He stressed that the faction would continue to uphold the rule of law and ensure that only legitimate officers manage the affairs of the ADC in Kebbi State.
