Rooney says Hargreaves was faster than Ronaldo, names quickest Man United player

Manchester United legend, Wayne Rooney, has said that Cristiano Ronaldo was not the quickest player while they were together at Old Trafford.
Rooney revealed that former midfielder, Owen Hargreaves was even faster than the Portuguese.
He said that a speed test was conducted at Manchester United to determine this.
Owen Hargreaves, Rooney and Ronaldo were in the Manchester United squad that won the Premier League and the Champions League in 2008.
Rooney claimed the former Bayern Munich midfielder was deceptively fast, but insisted that he himself was the quickest.
“We did tests over 30 yards I think it was, and I was top in that and Owen Hargreaves was second,” Rooney said on the BBC’s The Wayne Rooney Show.
“Owen was quicker than people think. So yeah, I was, I was faster than that.
“But there’s all different aspects in football. Cristiano obviously dribbling with the ball is really quick, Ryan Giggs dribbling with the ball. Some players seemed quicker with the ball and then without it as well.”
Rooney, a former Everton star, also named the likes of former Manchester City defender, Kyle Walker, ex-Arsenal man, Theo Walcott, former Aston Villa striker, Gabriel Agblonlahor and Aaron Lennon as his quickest opponents.
