EPL table: Arsenal go 7 points clear, Nottingham Forest hold Man United

Arsenal have extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table to seven points, thanks to a comfortable 2-0 win at Burnley on Saturday.

The Gunners arrived at Turf Moor on the back of a four-game winning run in the league.

And they wrapped up their latest victory in the first half of the match.

Viktor Gyokeres got on the end of yet another corner-kick to give Arsenal an early lead.

They doubled their advantage before the break, after Leandro Trossard’s cross was thumped in by Declan Rice.

Mikel Arteta’s men now have 25 points, seven more than Bournemouth who travel to Manchester City on Sunday.

Although Arsenal are 10 points clear of Liverpool, the champions could cut the lead when they host Aston Villa later tonight.

In the other game, Manchester United needed a late Amad Diallo goal to draw 2-2 at Nottingham Forest.
