A heartbreaking story from Nigeria cofirms the death of a a 17-year-old girl, identified as Sarah Aghahowa who was allegedly poisoned to death by her stepmother.
According to a viral Facebook post by Emenaha Chizoba Miracle, the young girl’s tragic death occurred on October 21, 2025, shortly after she gained admission to study psychology at the university of Delta State.
In the post, Emenaha Chizoba Miracle alleged that the stepmother poisoned Sarah, leading to her untimely death.

The police have since arrested Sarah’s step mother, as investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding the poisoning.
“She had just been admitted to the university. Everyone was happy for her, we never thought such evil could come from someone so close,” one resident reportedly told newsmen
