A dramatic happened at the Kumasi High Court today when Akosua Brempomaa, the sister of Daddy Lumba, confronted their Abusuapanin and demanded that the cause of her brother’s death be established before any burial arrangements proceed.
Ernestina who was visibly emotional, challenged Abusuapanin Victor Kofi Owusu after the court session and insisted that it would be inappropriate to hold the funeral without clarity on what led to the singer’s passing.
“We must know the cause of my brother’s death before his burial,” she declared at the court premises, drawing the attention of onlookers.

In a dramatic turn, Ernestina invoked the Otumfuo’s Great Oath, locally known as “Ntamk?se?”, in an attempt to halt the planned funeral.
The Otumfuo’s Great Oath is one of the most sacred traditional oaths in the Asante Kingdom, reserved for only the gravest matters.
Invoking it compels traditional authorities to investigate the issue thoroughly, as violating or dismissing such an oath is considered a serious affront to the Asantehene’s authority and traditions.
Following her action, Ernestina Fosu has was summoned before the Sumankwaahene, a high-ranking traditional authority, for questioning and to justify her decision to invoke the sacred oath.
