The Nigeria National League, NNL, has approved the Pa Ngele Oruta Township Stadium, Abakaliki for the 2025-26 season.
The venue is the home ground of NNL side, Abakaliki FC.
The NNL Stadium inspection representative, Mr Foster Chima expressed satisfaction with the facilities at the venue.
Chima described the facilities at the Pa Ngele Oruta Stadium as one of the best in the country.
“‘I’ m here in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State to inspect the facilities in this stadium- Pa Ngele Oruta township stadium, Abakaliki to ensure that it is up to the league’s Match venue standard, Looking at the stadium I think major facilities are in place,” Chima stated during his inspection.
” I, therefore recommend that the Pa Ngele Oruta township stadium, Abakaliki is approved for the 2025/2026 League season as the Abakaliki FC’S home match venue.”
DAILY POST reports that the stadium inspection is part of the league body plans to ensure a successful season.
The new season is scheduled to begin on Saturday, 8 November.
