Joy Prime introduces ‘The Brotherhood’ with Kofi Hayford as host

Ghana’s favourite lifestyle TV, Joy Prime, is returning with its popular all-male-panel talk show, with a bold new identity.

For seven seasons, viewers have stuck with The BMPS show, a platform that has offered men the opportunity to air their unadulterated views and thoughts on various issues. Since its inception, the show tackled social issues, financial, love and romance, family and friendships, politics, among others, and has set the tone for further conversations on social media.

However, the show has been reimagined as The Brotherhood, reflecting a deeper focus on unity, vulnerability, and authentic conversations from a man’s perspective.

At the heart of the transformation is broadcaster Kofi Hayford, who returns as host for the show’s eighth season. Kofi is an all-round broadcaster who has demonstrated his versatility and uniqueness on the Multimedia Group’s various platforms since joining the team in 2020. He is also an events MC, Entertainment Journalist, and a Voice-over Artist with many notable works under his belt.

Known for his wit, warmth, relatable charm, humor and signature laughter, Kofi Hayford has become a familiar face and voice guiding candid lifestyle conversations that resonate with men across Ghana. He is expected to bring the same authenticity and humor to The Brotherhood.

The Brotherhood premieres on Thursday, October 30 at 9pm on Joy Prime – TV and online – and promises to blend the energy fans loved from BMPS with new perspectives that reflect the evolving realities of modern manhood. Each episode will unpack topics like style, grooming, relationships, career growth, financial wellness, and the deeper issues shaping men’s lives today.

According to Kofi Hayford, the show’s rebrand goes beyond cosmetic. “It is a renewed commitment to giving men a safe space to share their struggles, ambitions, and truths”. The Brotherhood will feature its regularly known faces, Poxieble, Nanye, Oliver the Mounded Rock, Zeal, Odade3 Chris Johnson and Alvin. However the new identity will also make way for other guests ranging from public figures to everyday heroes, aiming to challenge stereotypes and spark meaningful dialogue that everyone can learn from.

The anticipation is building as The Brotherhood goes live at 9pm on Thursday October 30 on Joy Prime (also streaming live on Facebook and YouTube), set to remind audiences why real conversations still matter.
