Here’s how the military police arrested Williams Mensah

The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has swiftly acted following the public outrage over a viral video showing military officer, physically assaulting a pharmacy shop attendant and a female customer over a GHS 65 refund dispute.
In a new secretly recorded video circulating online, three uniformed military police officers are seen arriving at the residence of the suspect, identified as Williams Mensah, to effect his arrest.
The officers escorted Mensah out of his apartment inside the military barracks.
However, upon reaching their vehicle, Mensah appeared to resist entering and this prompted a brief scuffle.

The situation was quickly brought under control by a senior military officer, who intervened and ordered Mensah to peacefully comply.
A young boy in school uniform, believed to be Mensah’s son, was also seen at the scene, visibly distressed as the arrest went on.
The swift intervention by the Military Police has drawn widespread commendation from Ghanaians, many of whom took to social media to applaud the Armed Forces for taking decisive action against misconduct within its ranks.
“This is how institutions should work. No one is above the law,” one X (formerly Twitter) user wrote.
The assault incident, which sparked national outrage occurred when Mensah stormed a pharmacy at Burma Camp and demanded a refund for medication he claimed was wrongly purchased by a boy he had sent.
When the attendants refused to return the money without the proper transaction verification, the officer slapped and physically attacked the male staff member and a present female customer.
