Former Super Eagles captain, John Mikel Obi, is tipping Arsenal to win the Champions League.
Mikel Obi has already said the Gunners have the squad to conquer England and land the Premier League title.
But the former Chelsea midfielder also believes they can lift their first Champions League trophy this season.
“We’re talking about the Premier League, I think they can go on to win the Champions League, this is how good Arsenal are,” Mikel Obi said on his podcast.
“It’s scary, I’m telling you, the squad they have, the players they have, the way they are playing, and I can see a little bit of a mental shift.
“I think right now they believe, there’s something there, I can feel it now, finally Arsenal are ready.”
Arsenal are one of six English teams in the Champions League, along with Manchester City, Liverpool, Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea.
