Wikki Tourists Technical Adviser, Abdullahi Maikaba, has expressed satisfaction with the team’s 2-0 victory over Shooting Stars in the Matchday 10 fixture in Bauchi.
Abdullahi Usman and Jonathan Mairiga produced the goals for the Bauchi Elephants in the game.
The victory ended Wikki Tourists’ six-game winless run in the league.
Maikaba said the players showed enough character to secure the victory.
“This victory means a lot to us. It’s a good return to winning ways,” Maikaba said after the game.
“The boys showed real character, and we are determined to build on this. We thank our supporters and pray Allah continues to bless us with more victories.”
Wikki Tourists will face Barau FC next in Kano on Matchday 11.
