A Zimbabwean woman has been left heartbroken after discovering that the apartments she spent years building with her hard-earned money while abroad were secretly transferred to her brothers by her own mother.
According to reports, the woman, who had trusted her mother to supervise the construction in her absence, faithfully sent money home over several years for the project.
Her dream was to secure a home for herself and her family upon returning to Ghana.

However, upon completion of the apartments, she shockingly discovered that the property had been registered under her brothers’ names without her consent.
Even more painful, she has now been locked out of the building and told to “do whatever she wants.”
Her brothers have also ustified the betrayal by accusing her of “living a flashy life abroad,” smiling for photos, and “showing off success” while they struggled back home in the village.
Friends close to the woman say she is inconsolable, feeling betrayed by the very people she trusted most.
