Gov Idris reshuffles cabinet, redeploys health, security commissioners

Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle involving the redeployment of two commissioners in the state executive council.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Monday in Birnin Kebbi by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Alhaji Yakubu Bala Tafida.
According to the statement, the redeployment is part of the governor’s efforts to strengthen the administrative structure and enhance efficient service delivery across the state.
Those affected are Hon. Samaila Yakubu Augie, who moves to the Ministry of Health, and Hon. Haliru Aliyu Wasagu, now redeployed to the Ministry of Internal Security.
“I am directed to convey the approval of the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, for the redeployment of the aforementioned Honourable Commissioners. This directive takes immediate effect,” the statement read.
The SSG appreciated the continued cooperation of members of the State Executive Council, noting that their support has contributed significantly to the administration’s achievements so far.
He reaffirmed the governor’s commitment to sustaining peace, unity, and improved service delivery in the state.
