NPFL: Niger Tornadoes coach Mohammed aims high after win over Kano Pillars

Niger Tornadoes technical adviser, Majin Mohammed has reiterated his team’s desire to secure a continental ticket at the end of the 2025-26 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, season.
The Ikon Allah Boys gave their target a big boost with an impressive 2-0 win over Kano Pillars in their matchday 10 encounter in Katsina on Saturday.
Mohammed believes that he has the players that can achieve their target with consistency.
The victory moved Niger Tornadoes to the second position on the NPFL table with 17 points.
“Our target for the season is to clinch one of the continental tickets,” Mohammed stated in a post-match interview.
“We have a squad good enough to achieve the target, if we stay consistent and without injuries.”
The victory marked their fourth consecutive unbeaten game, showcasing the teams growing momentum.
Niger Tornadoes will lock horns with Abia Warriors in their next game.
