Arteta plays down title talk as Arsenal go four points clear at the top

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has insisted it is “too early” to say they are pulling away from their Premier League title contenders.
Arteta was speaking after their 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Eberechi Eze scored his first Premier League goal for the Gunners against his former team.
Manchester City, who kicked off at the same time, lost 1-0 at Aston Villa.
Yesterday, Brentford beat Liverpool 3-2 at the GTech Community Stadium, while Sunderland defeated Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge.
These results mean Arsenal are now four points clear at the top of the table, six ahead of City and seven clear of Liverpool.
On the weekend’s results, Arteta said: “I think it was a really positive weekend for us, especially because we did what we had to do and then it shows the difficulty of the league, and how complicated it is to win these games.”
