The owner of the barbershop that got the hair of the viral Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ student shaved has reacted to the viral video.
The barber spoke to the boss of Gh Page in an interview where he gave a blow-by-blow account of what really happened.
Speaking during the interview, the young barber disclosed that the first student of Yaa Asantewaa Girls had gone to numerous barbershops to get her hair trimmed, but none were ready to do it for her, for reasons best known to them.
Upon advice from a nurse, the young student and her mother were redirected to his shop, where he interrogated them, after which he got the hair trimmed for the lady.
During the interrogation, Ziggy disclosed that he had found out that the young student had not gotten her hair shaved before, for reasons best known to them.
After being convinced to get the hair shaved, the barber noted that he decided to get the work done as soon as possible.
While getting her hair trimmed, Ziggy disclosed that the young lady cried throughout the process, adding that he had videos to buttress his claims.
“When I was shaving her, she was crying bitterly so I asked her to calm down as I got the work done for her. She cried throughout the process. I have the videos and everything here”, he said.
