I agreed to marry him and be his 6th wife because he gave me 50 Cedis- woman reveals


A Ghanaian lady named Florence Agbeshie has expressed regret over marrying an Ayigbe man named Mr. Agbeshie.

Speaking with Maame Frimpomaa Korankye on Lawson Afisem aired on MFK Official, the young woman noted that if there is one thing she regrets doing, it is accepting to let Mr. Agbeshie lead her to the altar.

Florence claims she was very young when Mr. Agbeshie saw her, and expressed his interest in her, even though he had married and was too old to be his father.

According to Florence, this hasn’t been the life she wanted for herself, stating that growing up, she told herself not to marry a man who has numerous wives, and is too old to become a father.

However, Florence disclosed that it got to a point that despite he having 6 wives, she decided to marry Mr. Agbeshie.

Narrating why she married Mr. Agbeshie, Florence revealed that during that period, life was beating her so hard that she had to depend on alms for survival.

She shared that even though Mr. Agbeshie was a carpenter, he supported her financially, revealing that he could give her 50 Cedis for upkeep.

This, according to Florence made her accept the carpenter’s proposal and start a relationship with him.

Speaking on why she decided to marry Mr. Agbeshie, Florence stated that as the duo were in a relationship, she got pregnant and to avoid any shame, they decided to marry.
