Fans blame poor finishing for Enyimba’s 2-1 loss to Warri Wolves

Warri Wolves Football Club of Warri on Sunday defeated Enyimba 2-1 in Aba in a Nigerian Professional Football League, NPFL match.
During the game, the Aba-based team missed several scoring chances, to the disappointment of their home fans.
Warri Wolves took the lead in the 17th minute before Enyimba equalised in the 27th minute through Edidiong Ezikiel.
However, Warri Wolves scored again in the 66th minute and held on to their lead until the final whistle.
The match marked Enyimba’s third consecutive game without a win, as their previous two fixtures ended 0-0 against Rivers United in Aba and 1-0 in favour of newcomers Kun Khalifat in Owerri.
Reacting to the development on Sunday, some Enyimba fans, including Igwe Sabastine, Mike Uzoma, and Chinyere Nduka, blamed poor finishing in front of goal for the Elephants’ inability to win their matches.
Similarly, Abia Warriors FC of Umuahia lost 2-0 to Shooting Stars of Ibadan.
