Folorunso Aluko, the Director General of the Progressive Governors Forum, PGF, has hinted that six more state governors are expected to join the All Progressives Congress, APC, by 2027.
Aluko made this statement during the PGF Quarterly Strategy meeting of Information Commissioners from APC-led states in Maiduguri, Borno State, on Thursday.
He emphasized that the APC is well-positioned to achieve its goals and strengthen its strategic posture.
Aluko expressed confidence that the PGF will expand from 24 to at least 30 states by 2027.
He highlighted the importance of aligning state actions with federal vision, speaking with one voice, acting with integrity, and serving with renewed hope in the journey of nation-building.
Aluko said: “By the grace of God and the will of Nigerians, we are confident that the PGF will rise from today’s 24 states to at least 30 states before the end of 2027.
“We are strengthening our strategic posture and aligning every message with measurable impact.
”And as we look towards 2027, our conviction remains firm. The APC will grow stronger.”
