Akwa United have embarked on a closed camping session ahead of the 2025–26 Nigeria National League, NNL season.
The Promise Keepers’ players and technical crew held their first training session on Thursday at the Eket Stadium, Eket.
The camping exercise will focus primarily on drills and tactical play.
Paul Offor’s side are expected to feature in pre-season matches to fine-tune their strategies for the new campaign.
Akwa United are aiming for an immediate return to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, following their relegation last season.
The new NNL season is scheduled to commence on Saturday, November 8.
