Ekiti police solicit support to find missing woman, Olatoye Olayemi


The Ekiti State Police Command has appealed to members of the public for assistance in locating Miss Olatoye Olayemi, who has been declared missing.

According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abutu Sunday, ANIPR, on Wednesday, Olatoye, a resident of Odode Street, Ilogbo, Ido-Ekiti, left her home on 15th March 2025 for an unknown destination and has not returned since then.

All efforts by her family members and friends to trace her whereabouts have so far proved unsuccessful.

The missing woman is described as 38 years old, light in complexion, about 5 feet 2 inches tall, with no tribal marks, and she speaks Yoruba fluently.

SP Abutu added that the Command has launched an investigation to uncover her whereabouts and urged anyone with useful information to report to the nearest police station or call +234 906 405 0086.

The Command also appealed to the public and media organizations to give the information wide publicity to aid the search.
