Divorce Notice From Akosua Serwaa To Daddy Lumba’s Surfaces

A divorce notice filed by Akosua Serwaa, the legally wedded wife of the Daddy Lumba, has surfaced online and sparked renewed debate about the singer’s personal life and past controversies.

The lawsuit which was first filed in 2018 through Mercer & Company, paints a picture of alleged betrayal, emotional pain, and years of unresolved marital conflict.

According to the legal documents, the notice was addressed to Mr. Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, accusing the veteran musician of deserting his lawful wife for another woman despite their 34-year marriage and three children together.

The legal letter, dated February 4, 2018, partly reads:

“Our instructions are that for thirty-four (34) years, you have known our client as your wife with whom you have three (3) children, but without any reasonable cause, you have deserted the matrimonial home for the past five (5) years and have gone to marry another woman with whom you now stay and have many children.”

The reemergence of the court document has reignited public conversation about the private struggles of one of Ghana’s most celebrated musicians, whose career has spanned over four decades.

Neither Daddy Lumba nor his representatives have publicly commented on the resurfaced notice as of now.
