Ajagurajah backs Odo Broni – GhPage

Ghanaian spiritual leader, Bishop Kwabena Boakye Asiamah, popularly known as Ajagurajah, has waded into the ongoing feud between the two women in the life of the late Highlife legend Daddy Lumba Akosua Serwaa and Odo Broni.

In an interview on OKAY FM that has since gone viral, the founder of the Ajagurajah Movement asserted that Akosua Serwaa does not deserve to benefit from Daddy Lumba’s estate, claiming she was absent during the singer’s most difficult moments.

According to Ajagurajah, although Akosua Serwaa was the legally recognized wife of Daddy Lumba, she allegedly failed to stand by him in his time of need, unlike Odo Broni, who reportedly took care of him until his death.

“Akosua Serwaa was not there when Daddy Lumba was sick. It was Odo Broni who cared for him, and she deserves to inherit what he left behind,” Ajagurajah stated.

The comment comes amid a growing legal battle between the two women following Daddy Lumba’s death on July 26, 2025.

Akosua Serwaa, who lived with the late musician in Germany since the 1980s before he relocated to Ghana, has accused the family of sidelining her in funeral arrangements and inheritance discussions in favour of Odo Broni.

Reports suggest that Odo Broni cared for Daddy Lumba during his final years when his health deteriorated; A claim that has become a major point of contention between the two camps.

Ajagurajah’s remarks have since divided opinion online, with some supporting his stance and others condemning it as insensitive and biased.
