Netanyahu arrives at Ben Gurion Airport to welcome Trump to Israel

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara arrived at Ben Gurion Airport on Monday morning ahead of the arrival of US President Donald Trump, who is visiting Israel as part of his Middle East trip following the ongoing hostage releases from Gaza.
Photographs released by the Prime Minister’s Office show Netanyahu and his wife speaking with US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, Ivanka Trump, and her husband Jared Kushner, who played a central role in brokering the ceasefire and hostage-release agreement that came into effect on Friday.
Trump’s arrival comes as Hamas continues to release Israeli hostages held in Gaza for nearly two years, marking a significant moment in the region’s ongoing peace efforts.
According to Channel 12, Air Force One flew at a low altitude over several Israeli beaches before landing at Ben Gurion Airport, where crowds of Israelis were seen waving and cheering. A large banner displayed along Tel Aviv’s beachfront read, “Welcome President Trump.”
Trump is expected to meet with Israeli leaders in Jerusalem later today before continuing his regional tour.
