NSA extends emergency gazette service to Kumasi

The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced the extension of its Emergency Gazette Service to the Ashanti Region.

In a statement issued on Sunday, October 12, the NSA revealed that the Emergency Gazette Service established in partnership with the Ghana Publishing Company Limited will now be available at the Authority’s Ashanti Regional Office in Kumasi.

This follows the successful launch of the same service at the NSA Head Office in Accra, which is scheduled to commence operations at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, 13th October 2025.

The gazette service provides a fast-tracked process for publishing changes or corrections to personal details such as names and dates of birth, which are often required for national service registration and deployment.

The expansion to Kumasi, according to the NSA, is part of a broader national strategy aimed at decentralising key services to better serve graduates in all regions.

“This development forms part of the Authority’s broader plan to decentralise gazette services nationwide, ensuring that graduates across the country have convenient access to this vital service,” the statement read.

The NSA reaffirmed its commitment to delivering efficient, user-friendly, and innovative solutions that enhance the national service experience for Ghanaian graduates.

It also assured the public that further regional expansions are planned, with details to be communicated in due course.
