Super Falcons midfielder Deborah Abiodun has won the Assist of the Week award in the National Women’s Soccer League, NWSL.
Abiodun won the award for his superb assist in Washington Spirit’s 2-1 victory over San Diego Waves on Sunday.
The 21-year-old set up Rosemonde Kouassi for the game’s opening goal in the first half.
DAILY POST recalls the defensive midfielder also won the NWSL Rookie of the Month award last week.
Abiodun has made six league appearances for Adrián González’s side this season.
She was recalled from her loan spell at Dallas Trinity FC in the summer.
