Former Abia State Governor, Orji Uzor Kalu, has said that he could be president of Nigeria at any age if he is alive.
The Abia North Senator stated this on Wednesday, when he appeared as a quest on ‘Politics Today’, a programme on Channels Television.
According to him, being president is not by age but quality and competence, citing President Donald Trump of the United States as an example.
“I’m 65 years old now. US President Donald Trump is 79. If I’m healthy and God gives me life, I could still be president of Nigeria.
“The question is not age. The question is competency. What is in my brain that I need to deliver. It’s not when or where. It’s rather how ready I am,” he stated.
