The 2025 edition of the Shabach Praise and Worship Festival lived up to its billing as one of Ghana’s biggest gospel music events, drawing more than 1,400 worshippers to the National Theatre on 5th October.

The night of spirit-filled praise, led by celebrated gospel musician Jack Alolome, began at exactly 5:30 pm and kept patrons on their feet in worship throughout.

The festival featured an impressive lineup of seasoned gospel artists such as Elder Kwasi Mireku, Hannah Marfo, Empress Gifty, Kofi Owusu Peprah, Noble Nketia, and the Voice of Pentecost choir. Each act delivered electrifying performances that kept the atmosphere charged with praise and reverence.

Jack Alolome also used the occasion to record his upcoming album titled Edew Wo Yesu Mu, which is expected to feature some of his most powerful songs yet.

The event attracted a distinguished audience that included ministers of state, members of parliament from both political sides, CEOs of public institutions, and traditional leaders. They joined hundreds of believers in heartfelt worship, demonstrating the unifying power of gospel music and faith.

By the close of the night, the National Theatre was filled with joy and renewed inspiration as patrons expressed their satisfaction with the experience. The festival’s success has set a new benchmark for future gospel events. “Shabach Praise and Worship Festival has come to stay,” Jack Alolome reiterated.

Jack Alolome, known for hit songs such as Mmo Nea Obeye, Waye Me Yie, Let It Rain, God is Able and Nya Jesus No, has more than ten popular tracks to his credit.
