A Ghanaian woman has expressed her disappointment in the Ghana Education Service, following the release of schools for JHS graduates.
Sharing her story in a video sighted by Gh Page, the woman stated that her son chose 7 schools, but surprisingly enough, he was not given any of those schools.
According to her, even though her son could speak and hear very well, he was placed in a deaf and dumb school for reasons she has yet to understand.
Following the decision by the GES, the woman has stated that they have tried their best to ensure the right thing is being done, however, it looks like things won’t change.
She shared that it has been two weeks since she has been moving to and from the WAEC office, but all they tell her is to go and come back again.
Since all her efforts seem to prove futile, the woman has taken it to social media to look for help.
“He chose 7 schools but he was not given any of them. They rather gave him the school of the deaf and stated that that is the school he deserves”, she said.
She went on to add that “I came here the day after I checked the results, and it has been two weeks but nothing seems to work”.
