200 women to benefit from Vivo Energy Ghana Shell Fix initiative


 More than 200 women are to benefit from Vivo Energy Ghana Shell Fix initiative to equip them with basic car maintenance skills to boost their safety and confidence on the road.

Launched in Accra last Satur­day, the initiative formed part of Vivo Energy’s flagship ‘She Power diversity and inclusion’ campaign, which seeks to fuel change and empower women in all aspects of life.

Speaking at the launch, the Managing Director of Vivo Energy Ghana, Mr Christian Li, explained that the initiative would provide practical, hands-on training in areas such as checking oil levels, topping up fluids, and jump-starting batteries.

“Beyond putting women in the driver’s seat, we believe they de­serve to understand what is under the bonnet,” he said.

Mr Li stressed that empowering women with technical skills also strengthens families and commu­nities, underscoring Vivo Energy’s commitment to safety, excellence, respect, and care.

The President of the Institute of Public Relations (IPR) Ghana, Ms Esther Ambah Numaba Cob­bah, commended Vivo Energy for introducing Shell Fix, describing it
