NPFL: Poor finishing cost Ikorodu City win against Enyimba — Ozebagbe

Ikorodu City technical adviser, Bright Ozebagbe has attributed his team’s failure to beat Enyimba to poor finishing.
The Oga Boys held their hosts to a 1-1 draw in a matchday six encounter at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos on Sunday.
Ikorodu City’s Joel Ezra scored an own goal in the 12th minute to hand Enyimba the lead.
The lead lasted five minutes before Joseph Arumala equalised for the hosts.
Despite creating better goal scoring opportunities the Oga Boys were unable to find the winning goal.
Ozebagbe said his players were too anxious to put the ball into the net.
“Dropping points at home is not a good thing, it was against Enyimba, they had their chance, and took it and made things difficult for us,” he told the club’s media.
“We needed to be more composed in the final third. We created chances, and had moments we should have scored more goals. I think anxiety set in and we were unable to convert the chances.”
The Lagos club remain in ninth position on the table.
They will take on Bayelsa United in their next league game at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa this weekend.
