The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria, PENGASSAN, has urged the Federal Government to rein in Aliko Dangote and call him to order.
President of PENGASSAN, Festus Osifo, made this call in an interview on Sunday Politics, a programme on Channels Television.
“The Nigerian government must rein in on Dangote and call him to order. To let him understand that this is not a Banana Republic.
“This is a nation governed by law and rules. No matter how wealthy an individual is, he cannot sit down and break the law of the nation.
“President Bola Tinubu is following the law of Nigeria as president of the country. He doesn’t wake up on a daily basis and starts breaking the law. He can’t wake up tomorrow and sack the entire civil servants because he’s responsible,” he stated.
