Bauchi PDP tells aspirants to pull down campaign posters ahead of investment summit


The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Bauchi State has directed all aspirants under its platform to remove campaign posters and billboards from the streets of Bauchi metropolis in preparation for the forthcoming Bauchi Investment Summit scheduled for October 8–9, 2025.

In a statement signed on Thursday by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Dayyabu Chiroma, the PDP said the directive was to ensure a clean and orderly environment as the state prepares to host local and international investors, government officials, and development partners.

According to the party, presenting a tidy cityscape would help project Bauchi as a viable hub for economic growth and sustainable development.

The PDP further commended its members and aspirants for their cooperation, stressing that their support would contribute to the overall success of the summit.

DAILYPOST reports that the two-day Bauchi Investment Summit is expected to attract fresh investments into key sectors of the state’s economy and strengthen its position as a competitive destination for business.
