A video circulating widely on social media captures the terrifying moment a young man lost at least three fingers after attempting to provoke a lion at a zoo.
According to eyewitness accounts shared online, the man was trying to impress a group of ladies present at the facility by playing dangerously close to the lion’s enclosure.
In the footage, he is seen poking his fingers into the lion’s nose and mouth, a reckless act that initially seemed to amuse his audience.

However, the situation quickly turned tragic.
Midway through his repeated attempts to anger the lion, the animal snapped and latched onto his fingers and tore them off in a swift and brutal motion.
The man immediately fell to the ground and screamed in pain, as blood gushed from his mangled hand.
