NPFL announces matchday six fixtures adjustment

The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, has announced adjustments to the matchday six fixtures scheduled for this weekend.
The changes were necessitated by the continental engagements of four of the teams.
Defending champions Remo Stars and Rivers United will face US Zilimadjou of Comoros and Les Aigles of the Democratic Republic of Congo respectively in the second leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round this weekend.
President Federation Cup holders Kwara United and Abia Warriors will feature in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Abia Warriors will now host fellow continental challengers Remo Stars on October 1, the same day Rivers United are scheduled to host Niger Tornadoes.
The fixture between Kano Pillars and Kwara United has been moved to October 8.
Two matches—Plateau United versus El-Kanemi Warriors, and Bendel Insurance against Bayelsa United—will be played on Saturday.
All other fixtures remain as originally scheduled.
