Man United vs Chelsea: Maresca sends warning to Garnacho ahead Old Trafford return

Chelsea boss, Enzo Maresca, has sent a warning to Alejandro Garnacho ahead of the Blues’ trip to Manchester United this weekend.

The Italian hinted the Argentine may be in line for his first Chelsea start when they play struggling Manchester United on Saturday.

The former Leicester City bos then warned the South American he could get the worst reception at Old Trafford.

Amorim sanctioned Garnacho’s exit from Manchester United in the summer transfer window and the highly rated winger chose to move to Stamford Bridge with Chelsea paying the sum of £40 million.

The Argentina international had a major fall out with his Portuguese boss following their Europa League final defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in May.

He was used as a second half substitute against Brentford and Bayern Munich and the manager said the winger is ready to start against Man United.

“In the last two games, he was inside very good,” Maresca told his prematch press briefing.

“I think he’s ready to start.

“I don’t know what’s happened to him[at Man United].

“It’s always difficult. The other day, against Bayern Munich, [Marc] Cucurella every time touched the ball [got booed].

“The noise was not the best one. But you have to learn also to handle these kind of things.’”

Chelsea will be hoping to beat the Red Devils at Old Trafford before their fans to record their third victory of the season.
