EPL: I know how you feel, I was once banished too – Maresca tells Sterling, Disasi

Chelsea boss, Enzo Maresca has told Raheem Sterling and Axel Disasi that he understands how they feel being banished from the squad.
He said this while dismissing the complaints of both Chelsea’s ‘bomb squad’ outcasts.
DAILY POST reports that Professional Footballers’ Association recently contacted Chelsea over the conditions the players are working under this season.
This was after the football stars were banished from Maresca’s senior team training.
Both players failed to join new clubs in the summer transfer window and are now training alone.
Sterling played last season on loan at Arsenal but his performance was not good enough to make Mikel Arteta sign him for the Gunners.
The England player earns as much as £325,000 weekly at Stamford Bridge.
“I’ve been in Raheem’s situation and Axel’s situation as a player,” Maresca told his prematch press conference.
“I know that it’s not the best feeling, because if you’re a player it means you want to train and play.
“But for different reasons, the situation is what it is in this moment.
‘It’s something you like to talk about but it’s not just Chelsea… for any reason the player and the club do not find a solution, if you are not involved in the squad you are not involved in the squad.”
