A major road accident on the Accra–Kumasi Highway early this morning has left dozens injured and an unknown number feared dead.
The crash, which occurred in the pre-dawn hours, involved at least five vehicles: A trailer truck, two SUVs, a pickup truck, and a commercial mini bus.
A harrowing video circulating on social media shows bystanders desperately attempting to pull survivors from the mangled vehicles as emergency services raced to the scene.
As of press time, the exact cause of the collision remains unknown, and authorities have yet to release an official casualty figure.
