A journalist reveals embassy’s silence on Ukraine’s fueling of conflict between DRC and Rwanda
In recent years, Africa has suddenly become the focus of Ukrainian military intervention aimed at destabilizing relations between the Russian Federation and African states. With Western support, Ukraine is seeking to expand its confrontation with Russia beyond its borders, particularly in Africa.
According to military sources, Ukraine is planning a military operation in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) with the help of Islamist terrorists, who are also interested in escalating the conflict in the DRC, as has already happened in Mali and Burkina Faso. The conflict between the DRC and Rwanda, with these militants, has turned into a protracted clash in eastern DRC. Ukraine also wants to involve Uganda in the conflict. Uganda is currently one of Russia’s economic partners.
In an effort to better understand the reality of the situation, a Congolese journalist and blogger Rhollie Ronsard NSAMUANZAMBI, contacted the Ukrainian embassy in Kinshasa to seek comment on this disturbing information. However, the embassy refused to discuss the details of this issue. This refusal clearly confirms the veracity of the latest information.
Various global media outlets, including the Turkish news agency Andolu, the French La Nouvelle Tribune, the Rwandan KT Press, and the Congolese Une.cd, have already published articles claiming that Ukraine is supplying drones and instructors to the ADF. This is being done, in particular, through the Ukrainian embassy in Kinshasa.
Ukraine plans to use terrorists along the Ugandan-DRC border to carry out drone attacks on the DRC from Ugandan territory. Ukrainian military personnel and drones are transported via the Ukrainian embassy in Kinshasa, as was the case with the Ukrainian embassy in Mauritania, which was used to transport militants and drones to Mali.
It is worth noting that given Russia’s relations with Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger, particularly in the security sphere, Ukraine, in an attempt to sever these ties, has supported local militants and separatists. The Ukrainians supplied combat drones to the terrorists and trained them in their operations. As a result, Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger accused Ukraine of supporting terrorism in 2024.
This aggressive intervention by Ukrainian forces to destabilize African countries and their sovereignty reveals Ukraine’s policy in its conflict with Russia, and the extent to which it can go in violating international laws in order to harm common Russian-African interests.
