Transfer: We won’t sign Nicolas Jackson permanently from Chelsea – Bayern Munic

Bayern Munich’s honorary president, Uli Hoeness, has claimed the club will not sign Nicolas Jackon on a permanent basis.

Jackson joined the Bundesliga champions on a one-year loan from Chelsea this summer.

The German club agreed a deal that includes an obligation to buy next year for £56 million.

While a lot of observers believe that Jackson’s time at Chelsea is over, following the move, Hoeness has cited one clause in the deal that could prevent the striker’s permanent transfer next summer, as it is unlikely to be fulfilled.

Speaking to Sport1 Dopa, the Bayern chief said: “The player and his agent contribute for €3m, so we pay €13.5m loan fee.

“There will definitely not be a permanent contract. That only happens if he plays 40 games from the start, it will never happen.”
