WCQ: Super Eagles face criticism as Nigerians react to 1-0 win over Rwanda

Some Nigerian football fans have expressed their displeasure over the Super Eagles’ 1-0 win against Rwanda in their 2026 World Cup qualifier on Saturday.

DAILY POST reports that a second-half goal from substitute Tolu Arokodare gave Nigeria the win against Rwanda.

Victor Osimhen, who had an effort ruled out for offside in the first half, sustained an injury during the encounter at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

The result against Rwanda means Nigeria are now in third place, ahead of their next game against South Africa on Tuesday.
