Over 30 ISWAP terrorists killed as troops repel attack in Borno community

Over 30 fighters of the Islamic State of West Africa Province, ISWAP, have been killed by troops of Operation Hadin Kai after an attack on Darajamal community in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.
The development was disclosed in a post on Saturday by security analyst, Zagazola Makama, via his X handle.
According to the report, the terrorists stormed Darajamal on Friday night, shooting indiscriminately and killing several villagers before troops responded.
Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, ISR, aircraft tracked the attackers as they fled northwards. After confirming the presence of friendly forces, the aircrew engaged them with successive strikes, killing over 30 fighters.
Ground reinforcements later secured the community, while surviving terrorists retreated into the Sambisa forest.
