Police arrest 52yr old suspected drug dealer, three apprentices in Delta community

In line with its campaign against the use of illicit drugs and its subsequent effects on youths, Policemen from the Area Command, Ughelli, Delta State have arrested a fifty two year old suspected drug dealer, Egbule Isioma, who operates a Chemist Store opposite the Afisere Town hall.
Arrested alongside Isioma are three of her peddlers, who are also her apprentices, Mercy John, Favour John and Amarachi Ngozi.
The suspects were arrested during a raid of suspected criminal hideouts and that of some persons known for peddling drugs in Afiesere Community on August 29, DAILY POST can report.
The Police recovered from the suspects three Hundred and Fifty Five bottles of CSC Codeine, Fifty Seven rolls of 50MG Tramadol capsules, three hundred and thirty five rolls of 100mg tramadol capsules, thirty three rolls of 200mg super royal, seven backwoods five hundred and forty sachets of swinol capsules, and sixteen (16) cups of Canadian liquid cannabis.
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe disclosed this in a statement to newsmen in Warri.
Edafe said the arrest of the suspects was made possible through credible intelligence in relation to the activities of some persons known for drug peddling within Afiesere and Ughelli Town.”
According to SP Edafe, “The operatives trailed and arrested a drug baron named Egbule Isioma ‘f’ age 52yrs that operates a Chemist Store opposite the Afisere Town hall alongside three (3) of her apprentices namely Mercy John ‘f Favour John ‘f Amarachi Ngozi ‘f suspect led the operatives to her house at No. 31 Edile Street Afisere Search Warrant was executed during which the followings were recovered, Three Hundred and Fifty Five (355) bottles of CSC Codeine, Fifty Seven (57) rolls of 50MG Tramadol capsules, three hundred and thirty five (335) rolls of 100mg tramadol capsules, thirty three (33) rolls of 200mg super royal, seven (7) backwoods five hundred and forty (540) sachets of swinol capsules, and sixteen (16) cups of Canadian liquid cannabis.”
Edafe noted that, “Investigation further revealed that the suspect is a major dealer in illicit drugs in Ughelli and environs.”
