CHAN 2024: Sudan clash must win for Home Eagles — Captain Nduka

Home-based Super Eagles captain, Junior Nduka, has declared the team’s readiness to go all out for a win against Sudan.

Eric Chelle’s side lost 1-0 to defending champions Senegal in their first game at the ongoing 2024 African Nations Championship.

The West Africans occupy the bottom spot in Group D with zero points.

Another defeat will see the West Africans exit the competition at the group stage.

Nduka is, however, undaunted with the task ahead of the team, and is confident they will come out with a win.

“We want to take each game as it comes, and next for us is Sudan. The previous game was a setback and not a disaster. We have a point to prove and we are ready to correct our mistakes,” Nduka told thenff.com.

The game slated for the Amman Stadium, Zanzibar on Tuesday will kick-off at 6pm Nigerian time.
