EPL: He’ll score 20 goals this season – Hargreaves compares new Liverpool star to Thierry Henry

Former Bayern Munich and Manchester United midfielder, Owen Hargreaves, has backed new Liverpool signing, Hugo Ekitike, to shock followers of the Premier League with goals this season.
He said the attacker won’t score anything less than 20 goals for the Reds this season.
The former England midfielder hailed Ekitike for his technical ability and versatility, saying that Reds’ fans would be ‘shocked’ by how talented the Frenchman is.
Following the departure of Luis Diaz’s and the passing of Diogo Jota, Liverpool have bolstered their attack this summer.
A striker, Darwin Nunez, has also moved to Saudi Pro League side, Al-Hilal and one of the players signed by Liverpool is Hugo Ekitike, who joined from German Bundesliga side, Frankfurt.
He signed a six-year contract worth a reported transfer fee of €95 million.
Hargreaves predicted the attacker would shine for the Reds this season.
He told TNT Sports, via Rousing the Kop, “I don’t think people realise how good Ekitike is.
“I think he’s going to be amazing this year.
“I think he can score 20 goals, easy. I think in the end people are going to be shocked by how talented this kid is.”
Speaking further, the former England international compared the attacker o Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry.
“When you watch them side by side, obviously it’s a lot to live up to with Thierry, but he’s got something, that’s for sure,” he said.
Ekitike played for two years at Frankfurt where he netted 26 times and made 14 assists in 64 games across all competitions.
