Military personnel have been deployed to Afia community in Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State.
The deployment is part of ongoing efforts by the government to restore peace and safeguard lives and property in the troubled area.
Community leaders, including Chief Utambe Nyagba (Mue Ter Cha) and Comrade Boga Abuul, welcomed the intervention and lauded the government’s resolve to address the security challenges.
They assured the full support and cooperation of the community with the deployed security operatives to achieve lasting peace.
