Barau FC have adopted the Sani Abacha Stadium as their home ground for the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football, League, NPFL, season.
According to the management of the club, they will use the Sani Abacha Stadium until until renovations at their original home, Dambatta Stadium, are completed.
The Dambatta Stadium is currently undergoing extensive upgrades to meet NPFL standards.
Barau FC gained promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, from the Nigeria National League, NNL, last season.
The Kano club will be making their maiden appearance in the Nigerian top-flight.
They recently appointed an experienced tactician, Ladan Bosso, as their technical adviser.
Barau FC will face record champions Enyimba Football Club of Aba in their opening fixture of the 2025/26 season.
The new season will kick-off on Friday, 22 August.
