PDP now APC department, gets NEC, NWC meeting dates from presidential villa – Melaye

New entrant into the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Dino Melaye, has disclosed that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is a department and a parastatal of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The former Kogi West Senator alleged that the PDP got its dates for National Working Committee, NWC, and Board of Trustees, BoT, meetings from the Presidential Villa.
Melaye made the claims on Channels Television’s programme, Politics Today on Friday night.
He said: “PDP has been purchased by the APC, PDP is a parastatal of APC, and PDP is a department of APC.
“In fact they take dates for their NEC and NWC meetings from the Villa.”
The former lawmaker also accused PDP governors of failing to provide credible opposition to the APC-led federal government.
“Look at the number of governors of the PDP today, are they acting like opposition governors?
“You know the role of an opposition and how powerful Nigerian governors are, are they playing the opposition roles as governors? Those remaining in PDP are holding forth for APC.
“With due respect to my uncle Babangida Aliyu, you heard him just two days ago on Arise, he said if we can tolerate Buhari for eight years then we should tolerate Tinubu for another four years.
“Is that the voice of an opposition person? Is that the statement of somebody that should come from somebody not an APC person?”
He further warned that Nigeria is living in precarious times.
