Transfer: Chelsea lower asking price for Carney Chukwuemeka

Chelsea have slashed the asking price for forward, Carney Chukwuemeka, in a bid to sell him permanently.
This is to allow Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund the opportunity to acquire the services of the talented midfielder on a permanent basis.
Chelsea are reportedly willing to lower their valuation of the talented midfielder according to German outlet Bild via Ruhr24.
The Blues have softened their stance and are now open to selling Chukwuemeka for around €25 million, down from the initial €40 million price tag.
Dortmund are now seriously weighing up a permanent transfer for the 21-year-old.
Chukwuemeka, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Dortmund, made 17 appearances.
Chukwuemeka is keen on a return to the Signal Iduna Park, a stance that is believed to be aiding Dortmund’s negotiating position.
Chukwuemeka, a product of the Northampton Town and Aston Villa academies, made his debut for the latter first team in 2021, before signing for Chelsea in 2022.
